Relax Mode

SEMBREAK! The time to relax let my mind unwind from stress and forget about school for awhile. Just chill out, lay back and have some fun.

I spent the whole week at home. Like any other lazy teenager would do, I woke up and sleep when I want to, watch TV late at night, surfing the net, chatting with friends and the things I love the most of doing were reading mangas and watch anime.(>w<) But still I have chores to do .My mom and I made Leche Plan for my brother’s arrival from his review in Baguio. November 1, we went to two cemeteries, first we went to my grandfather’s grave. We lit candles, offered him fresh flowers and prayer. We stayed there just few minutes before we went to the “Simbaan a Bassit”, where my two grandmother’s grave lie. Again, we lit candles and offered them fresh flowers and prayer. I saw familiar faces there and we stayed there until pass 6 o’clock. I prayed for all the people who passed away that may their souls rest in peace.

Sembreak was almost over, so I made the best of it, I enjoyed the remaining moments reading mangas and spending it with my family.

2nd Grading....

Time really flys fast, isn’t it? A grading has ended but another has yet to start.

2nd Grading was restless; almost all of us had a hectic schedule. It was hard to keep up since I was going in and out of class, making me missed my lessons, activities and quizzes from my different subjects. I guess I concentrated my ECA or Extracurricular activities this grading, going to Baguio for the NLT, participating school contests inside and outside of the campus. I’m sure I’m not going to get high grades. But it was worth the experience and knowledge that we’ve gained from those affairs. As some say “Learning is not confined within the four walls of the classroom but is entwined in life experience”.

Learning never stops, so this grading I’ve learned in the class of Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz, how to create a web page by using the HTML Tags with the help of one of HTML editors, The Notepad. Also putting some style into the web page, like formatting its font size to its background color. At first it was confusing but I got the hang of it after some practice and activities. I’m looking forward to more about the cyber world.

So this next grading I’ll strive harder, balance my academics and ECA. Make up for lost time and do my best to get high grades.

Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

- Helen Keller

Bees are busy buzzing insects. They collect nectar from flowers and return to their hive. There, every bee work together to produce the sweet, delicious liquid food that we all know, HONEY! It’s a sweet success for them if I may say.

Unity binds every other person in the world to be as an effective whole. It’s easy to say but hard to attain. People in a community have different perspectives in life. It takes time for unity to build up. But by setting aside their differences, getting to know and earning one’s trust also respecting their point of view which can lead to friendship or even love. Unity can be formed. It strengthens the bond between two people as well as between countries. In unity, there are no obstacles that can pull us back or hurricane that can blow us away and do the impossible things that we thought we could never do before.

Hand-in-hand, there’s nothing that will stand in our way in improving our lives for a bright future and attaining a world full of peace and equality. A world, that will soon to become ONE.

With Filipinnovation, we’ll progress more!!!

Curiosity leads to new discoveries, ideas and inventions.

We Filipinos are very clever and creative; known for their successful contribution to the world of inventions. Like Eduardo San Juan as the inventor of the Lunar Rover or the Moon Buggy, Agapito Flores as the inventor of the fluorescent lamp, which is the most widely used source of lighting in the world today, Benjamin Almeda designed a food-processing machine, Julian Banzon researched methods of producing alternative fuels, Doctor Fe Del Mundo is credited with studies leading to the invention of an improved incubator and a jaundice relieving, Gregario Velasquez -pioneered Philippine phycology and made the first intensive study of Myxophyceae or bluegreen algae device and many more.

Innovation is exploiting new ideas leading to the creation of a new product, process or service. Not only that, but also to search for solutions in easing and solving in our present problems like Global Warming, Climate Change, issues on over-populated countries and much more. Without Innovation, there would no improvement in our lives; we’d be still in the Primitive Era or in the Ice Age. With innovation, we discovered Technology and continuously advancing in every minute of our lives, which made our life much easier to deal with. Innovation will make the world a better place for the next generation.

We can’t back down, even when you failed you have to stand up and try again, don’t lose hope and always keep your head up and face the challenges ahead of you.

Let’s encourage other people to be innovative in any way they can. We students can do it to, if we put it in our mind and heart. We can create and invent to make new things, new solutions for a better tomorrow. So with Filipinnovation, I’m sure that we will progress more than ever before.

My Teacher, My Hero

Heroes don't always dress in superhero suitor have superpowers. A hero can wear normal clothes and they can be an ordinary people. A hero is someone who helps people out.

It is hard to be a teacher 'cause there are many paperworks to do. She teaches us a lot not only for the information and knowledge about Science and Technology but also the Moral Values. She always keep a positive mind and supports us whenever there is a contest. She wants us to develop and improve our selves so that we can be model citizens in the future. She really wants us to bear in our minds the knowledge that she taught to us and for us to understand the lesson easily, she always set some examples(examples that are really funny and with sound effects XD). Really, she makes learning really fun. And if I didn't understand our lesson I would always ask her and she would explain more deeper for me to understand. She crack some jokes when she realizes that we're kinda bored. She's a great guitarist, whenever we have seat work to do, she would play some chords. She's a great influence and role model not only to the students but also the people around her.

I know that years from now, I will look back on my 4th year and remember, Mrs. Ester Alegre, a funny and warmhearted person, my Science Teacher....and....My Hero.

I've learned......

Going to school everyday, from those 7-8 hours, I've learned so much, not only for the field of intelligence but also for moral values. Learning is the acquisition of knowledge or skill through education and experience. “Experience is the best teacher” this saying explains that lessons learned from experience are the most lasting and it helps the person identify their mistake so that they can move on to figuring out how to prevent it from happening in the future. Curiosity leads to discoveries, discoveries leads to learning.

Though sometimes our topics seem easy, at times I find it complicated to absorb, those information into my brain like equations, formulas, on how to solve it, on how to use and etc.

By reviewing more about the topic that I find it hard to understand, asking help from others that know more about it than I do and do research about the topic through books, the Internet and through other sources. If I didn't understand our lesson very well, I'd always ask the teacher nicely to elaborate further for me to understand our lesson so that I won't have any problems if there's an upcoming test.

Learning is a continuous process; non-stop. So by learning, I can enrich my knowledge, improve my personality and reach my goals in life.

Love it and be Proud!

Language is a vital tool. Not only for a means of communicating thoughts and ideas, but it forges friendships, cultural ties, and economic relationships.  In Asia even in other countries have their own unique language. English language is one of the international languages, a tool of communication between countries, cultural groups, various companies and organizations, communities and friends. At heart, all languages share certain things which separate them from all other kinds of communication.

It is the Month of August and we're celebrating the "Buwan ng Wika" with the theme "Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal ay Talagang Kinakailangan" for this 2010. It concerns about flourishing a National language and increasing awareness on environmental issues says Bro. Armin Luistro. In the Philippines, there are many different languages and the National Language is the Filipino or Tagalog Language. We must love, be proud and patronize our language without a doubt. We must learn how to use the Filipino Language properly. Try our best to gain mastery over words because words lead to knowledge and power. We must be responsible and be extra careful on what we say and how we say them. By means of language we develop ourselves, our mind our personality, and our nation.

Nature is a gift from God that we must take good care and preserve it for the next generation for them to see its beauty. Because of us humans, destroying, cutting down many forests, trees which causes flash floods, mudslide and other calamities. Also causing the climate to change, Global warming beacuse of polution and greenhouse gases to increase. Mother Nature has been abused enough. Us human beings will only suffer the most, if we continue this.

Sa Pagkaing Tama at Sapat, Wastong Timbang ni Baby ang Katapat

You're going to have a baby! As parents, you want the best for your child. Knowing the health benefits of proper baby and child nutrition is one of the best ways to ensure a healthy start for your children.

Before the baby is born, a balanced and nutritious diet is important for a pregnant woman. Eating a healthy diet and eating a variety of fruits and vegetables to ensure good nutrition and keeps your baby healthy in your womb and to avoid the baby being pre-mature. Milk is important to your baby and breastfeeding is the best way to feed newborns. Mother's milk helps the baby resist disease and allergies. Also have all the nutrients the little one needs to grow healthy and strong. Other than providing as food, it also supplies comfort and love. Experts agree: Breastfeeding is the healthiest choice for babies during the first year of life and beyond. Breastfeeding also is cheaper than bottle feeding. Breast milk refers to the milk produced by a mother to feed her baby. Breast milk is full of antibodies that are substances that will help your baby fight infection. Breast milk also helps your baby’s digestion. Babies need full cream milk and cheese and when the baby has enough teeth to chew, one can start with wheat, rice and other cereals. Beans are also very nutritious for babies. As your baby grow, the food that he/she eats must be suitable to his/her stage or age.

So by feeding your baby with food that is healthy, fresh and rich in all those nutrients, for sure your baby will grow stronger and healthier.
