Relax Mode

SEMBREAK! The time to relax let my mind unwind from stress and forget about school for awhile. Just chill out, lay back and have some fun.

I spent the whole week at home. Like any other lazy teenager would do, I woke up and sleep when I want to, watch TV late at night, surfing the net, chatting with friends and the things I love the most of doing were reading mangas and watch anime.(>w<) But still I have chores to do .My mom and I made Leche Plan for my brother’s arrival from his review in Baguio. November 1, we went to two cemeteries, first we went to my grandfather’s grave. We lit candles, offered him fresh flowers and prayer. We stayed there just few minutes before we went to the “Simbaan a Bassit”, where my two grandmother’s grave lie. Again, we lit candles and offered them fresh flowers and prayer. I saw familiar faces there and we stayed there until pass 6 o’clock. I prayed for all the people who passed away that may their souls rest in peace.

Sembreak was almost over, so I made the best of it, I enjoyed the remaining moments reading mangas and spending it with my family.

2nd Grading....

Time really flys fast, isn’t it? A grading has ended but another has yet to start.

2nd Grading was restless; almost all of us had a hectic schedule. It was hard to keep up since I was going in and out of class, making me missed my lessons, activities and quizzes from my different subjects. I guess I concentrated my ECA or Extracurricular activities this grading, going to Baguio for the NLT, participating school contests inside and outside of the campus. I’m sure I’m not going to get high grades. But it was worth the experience and knowledge that we’ve gained from those affairs. As some say “Learning is not confined within the four walls of the classroom but is entwined in life experience”.

Learning never stops, so this grading I’ve learned in the class of Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz, how to create a web page by using the HTML Tags with the help of one of HTML editors, The Notepad. Also putting some style into the web page, like formatting its font size to its background color. At first it was confusing but I got the hang of it after some practice and activities. I’m looking forward to more about the cyber world.

So this next grading I’ll strive harder, balance my academics and ECA. Make up for lost time and do my best to get high grades.

Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

- Helen Keller

Bees are busy buzzing insects. They collect nectar from flowers and return to their hive. There, every bee work together to produce the sweet, delicious liquid food that we all know, HONEY! It’s a sweet success for them if I may say.

Unity binds every other person in the world to be as an effective whole. It’s easy to say but hard to attain. People in a community have different perspectives in life. It takes time for unity to build up. But by setting aside their differences, getting to know and earning one’s trust also respecting their point of view which can lead to friendship or even love. Unity can be formed. It strengthens the bond between two people as well as between countries. In unity, there are no obstacles that can pull us back or hurricane that can blow us away and do the impossible things that we thought we could never do before.

Hand-in-hand, there’s nothing that will stand in our way in improving our lives for a bright future and attaining a world full of peace and equality. A world, that will soon to become ONE.
