Change: It starts with me

Changing the world is hard to do. Start small ‘cause for a small change can greatly affect many. Every individual has a capability to help change the world. Change can only happen if you have the heart to pursue it.
“Be the change that you want to see in the world”
-Mohandas Gandhi
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
- Nelson Mandela.
If I wish to change the world then CHANGE must start WITHIN ME. Take ACTION. As a student though I can’t do it all but I can do something. Be a ROLE MODEL to the youngster, first I need DISCIPLINE, by simply following the rules and regulation of our school like throwing trashes to their rightful place or wearing your I.D at all times inside the campus and many more. Also RESPECT, if you respect others then you are respected back.
There are responsibilities that I have to attend to. Not only in school also the responsibilities as the caretaker of nature. We must not forget what the Lord had bestowed on us. The Mother Earth is suffering because of our human activities. We must LOVE and take good CARE of our MOTHER EARTH.
Start small ‘cause for a small change can greatly affect many, continuing this the WORLD may become a BETTER PLACE.

Let's Celebrate!!!

Let’s Celebrate!!!
January 25, a very special day, important and is traditionally celebrated among us Bigueños. For it is the Vigan City Fiesta also the celebration of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle, Vigan City’s patron saint.
There were many programs and activities that were conducted. Many people came together to celebrate this fiesta. One of the attractions of the said fiesta was the Longganisa Street dance competition, where different schools entered and competed. There was a Grand City Parade around Vigan, of course we CAT officers were there.
Never forgetting that if there’s a fiesta going on; it’s not complete without the carnival. People go at night at the carnival to have fun and bonding time with their family and friends. Full of laughter and fun that’s how we Bigueños celebrate this Fiesta. So, never miss this event, you won’t regret it.

"My dream, My future"

Since I was still a little toddler, people kept asking me the same questions over and over until now, “What will you become?” or “Hey, have you already decided what course you’re gonna pick? Or “What is/are your dream/s?”

Every individual is free to dream. Dreams can come true if you keep on believing and you believe in yourself.

Someday I will become a successful professional who gets respected and looked up to by many. Someday I will become a REGISTERED NURSE. I can say the field in medicine is in my blood. Because in my family many of my uncles, aunts, and cousins even my brother are either Doctors or Nurses. I was inspired by my grandmother; I heard many stories from my dad that she was an amazing and brave nurse. In the future, after I will become a RN, I will take up Medicine and will continue the Hospital that my grandparents started and bring recognition to the name “ADORA” in the field in medicine.

There will many challenges along the way also there will be people who will put me down but I won’t lose HOPE and I’ll keep my spirit strong. As the song goes.. Have faith in your dreams and someday...Your rainbow will come smiling thru...No matter how your heart is grieving...If you keep on believing...The dream that you wish will come true.

With determination, the passion that I have, the support from my family and friends that gives me strength every single day to pursue in life also the guidance from our Loving Father. I know and I believe that I CAN and I WILL REACH THOSE DREAMS of mine.

Another one begins...

A year ends and another one begins. New trials to face and a new adventure that awaits. 2010 gave unforgettable events that were delightful and awful. This 2011, let’s change for the better. Let’s learn from our mistakes, put the past behind and look forward to the future. New Hope, that lifts our spirits up to face the challenges in life.

2010 was great; treasured moments and memorable experiences that surely I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I’ve made several mistakes and I’d learned a lot from those. I hope this year would be greater than last one. It’s my last year in high school; I’ll make my day’s memorable moments with my friends, classmates and teachers as I can. I’ll strive harder even more than ever before. After Graduation, my new adventure awaits. I’ll be a college student soon and I hope I’ll choose the right course for me.

So this 2011 make the most of it. Let’s live a momentous life this New Year!
